Steve
Kinnaird
"Steve
lives in Nacogdoches, Texas, where he pastors a small church and
builds steel string guitars as an avocation. To the right is the
peghead of a guitar built for Dana Woods, owner of a local music
store. The hand-cut inlays are of green and red abalone, as well
as gold lip mother-of-pearl. Steve enjoys working with the traditional
"tone woods", but also very much likes to use alternative
woods. This guitar is built of Padouk, with an Engelmann spruce
top."

Chuck Lee
Chuck is a maker of "fine, one of a kind" banjos. Not
wanting to become just another "reproduction" banjo maker,
he set out to build on the classic banjos of days gone by. He strives
to
use detailed inlay and necks laminated of multi-colored veneer
to bring an artistic flair to his creations. Chuck desires to build
instruments that become the player's best friend. He has standard
models but each one has a "one of a kind" flair of it's
own. Come visit Lone Star Luthiery, Home of the Lee Banjo. Click!
