This
is John's first guitar the back and sides are flat sawn mahogany.
The top is sitka spruce with a beautiful bear claw figuring.
The neck is Australian lacewood left over from humidor making.
It
has
an ebony
fingerboard
with
Paua
shell
marker
dots
and gold
Schaller tuning machines with ebony buttons. The bridge is cocobolo
that rings like a bell and the Tor-Tis pickgaurd
would make "Myrtel the Turtle" mourn for her late husband "Hurtle".
It
plays like a dream and looks pretty besides.
