Our dear friend and Texas master archtop maker ED SCHAEFER and his wife Judy recently moved to Duluth Minnesota (yes that's right, the great frozen north) to set up shop in his old stomping grounds. You see, once upon a time Ed was a Yankee. But he lived in Texas long enough to become a naturalized citizen so he could come back to visit without any immigration problems! We will miss his insight but we all wish him well and know he will continue setting the standard for jazz world.
