Chris Jenkin's "Chameleon"*

* So named because it adapts to any player's style.

An outstanding example!

Jenkins's guitars are as unique on the inside as they are on the outside. This one features a Texas crest and a "Good Luck Fetish" that can be viewed through the soundhole.

It is 12 frets to the body, made of quilted mahogany with a cedar top. The lower bout is 14 3/4". The neck is a three piece laminate and is bolt on for easy re-set. There is a removable end panel for easy access to the electronics.

Chris laminates his sides for strength and lightness. The inside laminate is curly maple which matches the sound hole rosette and bindings. The side braces are beautifully inlayed in Chris's inimitable style. It has a burled mesquite finger board with a graphite & bone nut. The bridge is rosewood with a bone saddle. It features locking gold Spurzel tuning machines and an L.R. Baggs "Acoustic Timbre" equalizer.

This beauty is priced is $5,200 which includes an "Accord" case that by itself is a $1,600 value.
